Tremolite is composed of silicate minerals, the main being asbestos, and member of the amphibole group that crystallises in the form of masses, fibrous aggregates, and prismatic crystals. Tremolite is rare in crystallised form and is a unique mineral that’s also a variety of Nephrite, one of the two materials that make up Jade (the other being Jadeite).
