Smithsonite Rare Specimen (Indonesia)
Smithsonite is a stone found worldwide so isn’t rare in its raw form but is if it is faceted and that is scarce. These specimens are rare due to the uniqueness of the crystallisation with more silvery hues being more rare. Smithsonite is a zinc carbonate mineral, also known as zinc spar and although it rarely forms crystals, smithsonite is most commonly found as botryoidal or stalactitic masses or as honeycombed aggregates. Smithsonite can be found in a variety of colours such as yellow, brown, purple, white, green, grey, and most notably, its turquoise-blue shade. Smithsonite is a very powerful stone to soothe the mind and keeps the emotional body refreshed, helping to reevaluate the situations causing distress. It helps one reach resolution when one feels trapped moving forward and helps overwhelming emotions with strong clarity of the mind. Smithsonite helps one gain an inner reflection on themselves and helps with depression, shyness and low stagnant energy. It helps with inner strength to keep pushing forward and to see things from a different angle due to the power of thought. It imbues the aura with rejuvenation - puts a spring in the step! Smithsonite is also incredible as it activates the entire chakra column providing unconditional love and the healing of conflicts. It also provides insight into one’s intuition and makes one unlock any blockages to receiving spiritual messages. A very uplifting and powerful stone! 🖤
